Inexpensive Weekend Getaways

If you're trying to prepare for that long weekend coming up ahead, maybe you've already faced the unpredictably tough decision of 'where to go to?'. The most common things that influence this decision are distance, climate, and expenses.
The weekend is coming up and you want to take your loved one out for a wonderful little two day trip. But it is totally unplanned and since you're hitting the end of the month, you're short of cash too!
The idea here is that, you and your loved one can have a great time away from home, work, kids (if any), and any other very taxing daily chore. And yet have this little vacation without burning a hole in your pocket.

Weekend Vacations

Just take out the car and go on a nice road trip with your loved one or with your friends. All you need to do is plan where to go, gather all the necessaries together, gas up the car, and push off.
You don't even need a place to stay. Just grab a tent and camp out in the wild at night. If you don't have a tent, just grab a couple of sleeping bags and blankets, and you can camp out in the car too.

The Nearest Beach

There is something about the beach, that is wonderfully romantic and enjoyable. So, a trip to the beach is without a doubt, a romantic getaway for a couple. All you have to do is pack your bags and drive down the closest beach.
If you have the cash, stay in a hotel, if you don't, stay on the beach! Those long walks and sitting by the sea, watching the sunset or the sunrise will give you a priceless memory to take home.

In the United States, there are several terrains that provide you a good opportunity to go hiking with your loved one, provided that the two of you are the outdoorsy type.
Hiking can be very romantic and the fact that the two of you are alone means that it will be loads of fun. Hiking lodges come very cheap as well. It is not only one of the best couple ideas, but is also a fun trip you can go for with friends.

A Trip to Meet Family

If you have a three day weekend at hand, the entire family can drop by into someone's place and crash for the long weekend. You get to meet your family and it can be a lot of fun as well.

A Cruise

Who says cruises have to be really expensive. You can bunk into one of those less expensive cruise liners, where you have a pay-per-use system.
So, if you just want to sit on the deck and soak up the sun, there's your weekend hideaway right there. And if you want a massage and the bottle of champagne delivered to your room, it might cost you more than just an extra penny, but at least it's your choice whether you want to have it or not.
A trip for the weekend needn't cost you a bomb. Try one of these ideas and you'll enjoy your weekend without burning a hole in your pocket.
